BuxusPR is a Brooklyn-based literary and arts public relations agency focused on promoting creative people, projects, and presenters. We specialize in constructing innovative storylines, media initiatives, and events to attract press in the nation’s preeminent print, digital, and public media outlets. 

Buxus clients are typically authors or publishers of literary fiction, poetry, and/or academic or up-market nonfiction. We also work with events producers and non-profit organizations, as well as galleries, artists, dancers, and musicians.

Books represented by Buxus have won numerous awards—including a Pulitzer Prize—and routinely receive attention from the likes of The New York Times, The New Yorker, and NPR, examples of which can be found on the Press page.

BuxusPR is headed by “book publicist and echt Brooklynite David Bukszpan. Prior to launching Buxus, David was the in-house publicist for two premier literary publishing houses and the nation’s largest public radio station.
